Kin Charity Auction Poster The tradition began 40 years ago and is still going strong today. This year, we would like to kick off the local Christmas Shopping Season and the 40th Annual Kin Charity Auction with a heartfelt Thank You. Your phenomenal support of the community and Kin Clubs of Collingwood have allowed us to continue supporting many local causes that are near and dear to your hearts.  Over the past 40 years we’ve seen the popularity of this event grow with the public as well as with the support of merchants and professionals in the community. Our goal this year is to reach $20, 000. The funds raised from this auction are earmarked for Collingwood Library, G&M Hospital, school bursaries, seniors’ events, cystic fibrosis and other local recipients as we work diligently to help you benefit our whole community. Our 40th Annual Kin Charity Auction will again be hosted solely by 95.1 The Peak FM. We will be broadcasting live on Tuesday November 7th at 7:00 pm, and are looking forward to making it a hugely successful auction. All items donated to the Auction will be listed online with a photograph and description and, as in years past, a fold out insert in the Collingwood Connection one week prior to the Auction. You will see posters around town and in merchant windows as well as ads in the Connection.  Within the next two weeks, a member from our clubs will be contacting you regarding your participation in this year’s special event.  As in the past, any article, gift certificate, or monetary donation will be greatly appreciated.  Enclosed with this letter is a form that will assist us in the pick up and description of your donation and your company. Your company will receive 10-15 additional seconds of recognition live on the radio the night of the auction provided that the Company Info section is filled out.  If you would prefer, you may fax us the completed form to indicate your item is ready for pickup. This would assist us greatly and save you time. We would like to thank everyone in advance for their help with the auction.  Due to time restrictions the night of the auction, we may be grouping items valued less than $75.00 with another donation. However, it is important for those whose items are grouped to fill out the Company Info section so that they still receive their individual 10-15 seconds on the air.  Anything with a value of more than $75.00 will have its own auction segment and a 10-15 second spot.  If you require any further information about the auction, please contact any member of the Kin Family or specifically the Auction Team members listed to the left.  The Community and Kin Families of Collingwood thank you for your continued support. “Serving the Community’s Greatest Need”
